Jenny Sawyer, MSN, RN

Jenny Sawyer is the Director of Nursing. She is a graduate of the Practical Nursing (LPN) and Accelerated LPN to RN programs at TCTC. Jenny obtained her Master’s degree in 2023. Jenny has 20 years of experience as a nurse, including a background in Intensive Care and Obstetrics, and served as the Infection Preventionist with an emphasis on Patient Safety and Infection Control Measures in the hospital setting. She is currently in her fifth year as an instructor at TCTC.

Jenny taught many classes as an American Heart Association instructor for Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and has a passion for nursing education. "There is a need for strong nurses that are competent as well as compassionate about their profession. I learned those qualities from my instructors at TCTC, and serving as a director here is a great honor and privilege. I hope to impart the knowledge and wisdom that will ensure the next generation of great nurses," Jenny said.
